London JOI Club (Junior Optimists) will be doing their signature free Face Painting during the bike rodeo, and helping in other areas. #SharetheJOI #OptimistsinAction These amazing kids and youth host monthly meetings with Guest Presenters and reports, as well as hosting a winter snack bar at Medway Arena, and volunteering at many community events (MOA Maple Harvest Festival, Scouts Community Clean Up, Neighbourhood appreciation event, FCFH Literacy Event, Hyde Park Santa Claus Parade, Salvation Army Red Kettle, Pumpkin Hollow). They have arranged their own events such as 2018 Skate with Santa, and a fundraiser, the JOI of Spring Bowling Social in 2019! The amazing gang at Cycle Link, and the professionals of Squeaky Wheel Bike Coop will also be at “Ready to Roll” with resources, bike tune-ups and more! Be sure to connect with them at our event before you get rolling!
London Transit Commission (LTC) will be at our event to demonstrate how to load or unload your bike from a city busy when taking public transit. This is a great opportunity to support a ‘go green’ initiative and keep fewer cars on our roads!
This event will have helmet fittings, bike fittings, bike tune-ups, safety training and Current Resources from contributors like CAA, MTO, TREA, ASRTS, CHAMPS and more!
